Building a Base

I got a big calendar because I’m starting to book for for the book, so to speak. 3003 Days of Mike & Me / And the Wars Between Us

5/18. I fly to NYC (thanks to Jackie, a friend) to see a staged reading of my friend Argia’s play.

5/19. I have a theatrical agent, Pat Addiss, who said she’d give me a reading of M&M at The National Arts Club. I call to follow up. She’s getting an award on that Friday in NYC, asks me to come. She says it’s for a women’s group of very interesting women. I’ll go; I’m a very interested woman. Sometime around the award, we’ll talk Arts Club reading.

5/22 Argia’s Play. I have invited Pat to come since Argia’s agent is questionable re: staying.

5/19. Pat asked what stage my play, “Mr. Muybridge” was in, we’ll talk.

5/31 D and I will drive to Nashville, for a 5 day convention of the 173rd Airborne Battalion, (Mike’s unit in Vietnam). I have a vendor’s table there.

6/17 Reading and Signing at Barnes & Noble Metairie, LA. 2-4 pm. The day before Father’s Day.

7/6. Baton Rouge reading for new Vets Group Humana is forming: 9:30 AM

7/? Baton Rouge Humana asked if I’d do a reading for regular attendees at their Neighborhood Drop-in center. Date to be determine.
